CF= Conquer Fitness

My name is Reese Kemp and I suffer from CF (Cystic Fibrosis), Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. The average life span for someone with CF in 1996 was 20 years old,average life span today is 37. I was born in 1996 and found out I had CF in 1998. The toll it has taken on my life has always been rough. In and out of the hospital my whole life, usually 3-4 times a year for 2 weeks at a time. Growing up being in the hospital a lot you see and hear a lot of scary stuff about life. Some people would take it in and let it negatively affect them, but me I knew I had to be different. When I was 18 I started working out and the amazing things it has done for me are ongoing. My lung function increased, my weight went from 95 lbs to now a solid 145lbs, and I just feel amazing and in a great place. My goal now? To conquer fitness and motivate people that anything is possible. To help people as much as I can one by one. I want others to know how amazing and important fitness is to their health, and how it goes way more than just looks. I’m ready to begin my story of helping others in the fitness world and help people conquer fitness.
